Interactive, plain-language workshops designed for community settings (libraries, senior centers, faith groups, schools, workplaces, housing communities). We blend short teaching segments with demos, practice, and Q&A, then send participants home with simple checklists and a resource list tailored to your area.
Scope: RN population health education—no diagnosis or prescribing.
Diabetes prevention
Risk factors, food/activity basics, label reading, goal setting, and tracking.
Blood-pressure basic
How BP works, home cuff technique, sodium/medication literacy, “when to call.”
Fall prevention
Home safety setup, footwear, strength/balance routines, meds/vision review prompts.
Medication safety
Organizing meds, timing with meals/sleep, interactions, safe storage & disposal.
Format & logistics
Length: 45–90 minutes (single topic) or half-day bundles
Group size: 10–40 (larger groups supported with stations)
Delivery: on-site or virtual; basic AV recommended (projector/speakers)
