RN In-Service & Workshops

Evidence-based, policy-aligned training for nursing teams—built to strengthen safer practice, accurate documentation, and real-world skills.

What this service is

RN-led in-services and workshops that blend brief teaching, hands-on practice, and charting labs. We align content to your facility policies, state rules, and active provider orders, and we verify learning with return demonstrations and competency checklists.

Scope: RN education, skills reinforcement, and competency validation per facility policy (non-certifying; no diagnosis or prescribing).

Who it’s for

  • Acute, post-acute, long-term care, and home-care teams

  • New-hire onboarding, annual refreshers, or targeted remediation

  • Charge nurses, preceptors, and educators standardizing practice across shifts

Safe medication administration

6 rights, high-alert meds, labeling, independent double-checks, pump basics, near-miss prevention, and documentation do’s/don’ts.

Insulin administration

Pen vs. syringe technique, site rotation, timing with meals/corrections, storage/needle safety, and hypoglycemia recognition & response.

Wound care essentials & prevention

Skin risk screening, pressure-injury prevention/off-loading, moisture balance, dressing fundamentals per orders, and escalation criteria.

Code/rapid response readiness (non-certifying)

Role clarity, SBAR, early-warning cues, equipment checks, and team drills to reduce first-minute delays (does not issue BLS/ACLS cards).

Deliverables you receive

  • Slide handouts and quick-reference cards

  • Policy alignment summary (where practice meets policy)

  • Competency checklists and attendance roster

  • Post-session recommendations for leaders (trends, risk hot spots)

How the training works

  1. Pre-work & policy crosswalk: we map content to your policies and priority risks.

  2. Focused teaching: short, practical modules with case vignettes.

  3. Hands-on & return demo: stepwise practice with immediate coaching.

  4. Charting lab: objective, defensible notes; common pitfalls; quick templates.

  5. Competency validation: checklist sign-off when standards are met.

Note: RN services complement—not replace—medical care. We collaborate with your physician/NP/PA and follow provider orders and facility policies.
